Archiving Policy
Journal of Music Theory and Transcultural Music Studies (JMTTMS) adopts a transparent and sustainable archiving policy to ensure the long-term accessibility, preservation, and availability of all scholarly content published by the journal.
The journal is published using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and supports digital preservation practices designed to guarantee permanent access to published materials. Because apparently humanity now produces knowledge primarily to store it in three different servers and a PDF no one deletes. A noble ritual, honestly.
All articles and issues published in the journal are stored on secure journal servers and backed up regularly to prevent data loss and ensure operational continuity.
Digital Preservation
The journal utilizes the archiving and preservation infrastructure provided through the OJS platform and follows internationally recognized digital preservation standards to maintain the integrity and accessibility of its content over time.
Published content remains permanently accessible on the journal website:

Technical and Operational Measures
In addition to platform-based preservation systems, the journal maintains internal backup and security procedures, including periodic server backups and controlled access mechanisms, to support uninterrupted access to published content.
These measures are intended to complement long-term digital preservation strategies and ensure the continued availability of the scholarly record.
