Openaccess
Open Access Policy
The Journal of Music Theory and Transcultural Music Studies (JMTTMS) publishes in accordance with the open access principles defined by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). According to DOAJ, open access means that scholarly articles are freely available at the time of publication and that users may reuse the content under a specified open license (DOAJ Guide).
Within this framework:
-
The full texts of all articles published in JMTTMS are freely and openly accessible to anyone with an internet connection.
-
No fees, subscriptions, or registration are required for access.
-
The journal does not apply embargoes; articles are available immediately upon publication.
-
Terms of use and copyright information are clearly stated in each article to ensure transparency.
License and Use
All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.
Readers are permitted to:
-
Read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full texts of the articles.
Conditions:
-
Proper attribution to the author and the work is required.
-
Commercial use and derivative works (modifications) are not permitted.
JMTTMS aims to promote the free circulation of knowledge, global visibility, and international academic collaboration in line with these principles.
